IAIA board gets new member

JANUARY 5, 2000 President Bill Clinton on Wednesday appointed Mohegan Tribal Ambassador Jayne Fawcett to the board of the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Fawcett will attend her first meeting at IAIA next week. After having its funding cut in half in past years, the two-year arts college receiving full funding in October. Get the Story:
