Peruvian tombs uncovered

A University of California at Los Angeles research team on Wednesday announced the discovery of three intact tombs in a 105-foot mud-brick Moche pyramid on the Pacific coast of Peru.

The Moche culture dominated the Peruvian coast for several hundred years between A.D. 100 and A.D. 800. The tombs date between A.D. 450 and A.D. 550.
