MAY 5, 2000 An exhibit at the Oregon State Archives in Salem shows some of different experiences children had at Indian boarding schools throughout the country. Photos and testimonials describe some of these experiences, ranging from not being able to speak one's own language to enjoying sewing and cooking classes. The exhibit is open today from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. today and on Monday. It is closed over the weekend. Get the Story:
