JULY 18, 2000 The 750-year-old skull of a Mixtec Indian teenager will be repatriated to Mexico, from where it was looted. US Customs Agents seized the skull and other artifacts in 1994 and paid a Washington state man $160,000 for the skull and a huge conch shell. Frank Stegmeier, who fled before trial, was arrested and sentenced to 41 months in jail after being discovered in Panama. Get the Story:
