MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2001 The Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians of New Jersey are opposing contruction on what they say is a 10,000-year-old burial ground. But the Vernon township council said the land isn't likely to contain any graves. The town says its own research shows there probably aren't any remains or artifacts. A local archaeologist wants the 35-acre site put on the National Register of Historic Places. Get the Story:
