MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2001 Research by Debbie McBride, a senior at University of Alaska Southeast, takes a look at a Christian mission established for Tlingits in Haines. According to McBride, the Tlingits in the area wanted a mission because they expected finacial rewards. They saw the gains a mission brought to other Tlingits, said McBride. Get the Story:
