Lummi Nation to rebury ancestors

MONDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2001

The Lummi Nation of Washington today will start reburying more than 90 ancestors that were repatriated to the tribe.

Some of the remains were unearthed during a recent development project. Others were being held by Western Washington University.

Three days of ceremonies are planned for the reburial.
