An intergovernmental group has proposed an agreement to divide up the former Badger Army Ammunition Plant in Wisconsin to the state, the federal government and the Ho-Chunk Nation.

Under the plan, the tribe would receive 1,629 of the site's 7,000 acres. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources would receive 3,316 acres and the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center would get 2,032 acres.

The Badger Intergovernmental Group is expected to submit a final recommendation on the site to the General Services Administration.
