Fort Peck bill signed into law

The Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System Act has been signed into law by President Clinton.

The law authorizes the construction of a $175 million water system on and near the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana. The bill provides $124 million to the Bureau of Reclamation for planning, design, and construction and to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for the operation and management of it.
