FEBRUARY 5, 2001 Attempts to vaccinate bison in Yellowstone National Park with brucellosis "biobullets" have proven difficult, say US Geological Survey and Montana officials. Montana has a brucellosis-free status and the state and the National Park Service recently finalized an agreement in hopes of preventing the transmission of the disease from bison to cows. In addition to bison, the United States Department of Agriculture is paying for the vaccination of cattle. Get the Story:
