The Phillips oil company on Monday said it has cleaned up most of a 92,400-gallon saltwater and crude oil spill on the North Slope of Alaska.

The cause of the spill, which started Sunday night, is unknown and is under investigation. It is the fourth major spill on the slope this winter.

Phillips operates the Kuparuk oil field, the second largest in North America.
