MAY 19, 2000 The Environmental Protection Agency will study potential contaimination at the Big Horn Carpet Mill site located on the Crow reservation in Montana. The site opened in 1968 and closed in 1974. The EPA reports that the site may have been contaminated with cleaning solvents, chemical dyes, glues and other chemicals. A study is urgent because the site is not fenced and children can play in an around the mill. Get the Story:
