The Alaska Legislature's House Finance Committee over the weekend added $2 million to the state's budget bill to fund a pro-drilling group's lobbying efforts.

The funding is an addition to the $1.85 million the Legislature approved in an emergency spending bill in March. Arctic Power, an Anchorage non-profit, will receive the $2 million.
