Democrats ease call for power price limits

JUNE 20, 2001 Senate Democrats on Tuesday eased their call for caps on the price of power in the West. Instead, they said they would wait to see how new price limits approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission would affect the power situation. FERC has imposed new limits on the sale of wholesale power in California. Get the Story:
