Conference to address sacred lands

Tribal leaders from throughout Indian Country are meeting this weekend in Cody, Wyoming, to talk about the history and protection of sacred lands.

Presentations on sacred sites such as the Black Hills, Devils Tower, and Bear Butte are among seventeen scheduled to occur.

The conference begins Thursday and runs until Sunday at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
