National Guard sought a nuclear plant

Officials in Goodhue County are asking Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura to consider putting the National Guard at the Prairie Island nuclear power plant.

The plant is located next to the Prairie Island Reservation. The Mdewakanton Dakota Tribe has been fighting an attempt to keep the power plant open.
