Okla. tribe joins wastewater lawsuit

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2001 The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma has joined a lawsuit accusing a food company of dumping contaminated wastewater into a lake. The tribe did not comment directly on the lawsuit for The Daily Oklahoman. The tribe owns land that could be affected by the claims against Tyson Foods. Local residents say the water flowing into Grand Lake is filled with chicken parts and blood. Get the Story:
