Drought threatening tribal fish

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe of Nevada is pushing for more water for the endangered cui-ui fish.

Due to ongoing drought conditions, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will release only a limited amount of water from the Stampede Reservoir into the Truckee River. Last year, none was provided.
