NOVEMBER 22, 2000 A court order has authorized the removal of 19 children between the ages of 10 and 18 from the Innu community of Sheshatshiu in Labrador. Seven have apparently disappeared, however, according to leaders in the community and health officials. The rest have been transferred to a military facility nearby in order to begin treatment for substance abuse. Get the Story:
