Canada has its own Kennewick Man

NOVEMBER 30, 2000 He's not nearly as old and there isn't much controversy over him, but Canada's First Nations have their own version of Kennewick Man. Named Kwaday Dan Sinchi, or Long Ago Person Found?, by elders of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations, the 550-year-old man was found in a glacier in northern British Columbia. With flesh intact, he is considered to be the oldest and most complete human remains found in North American. Tribal elders say they want to know as much as possible about him. Their oral histories, in particular, make reference to travel across glaciers. Get the Story:
