MAY 11, 2000 With the Nisga'a Nation treaty officially law, the new Nisga'a govermnent will be sworn in Thursday in Gitwinksihlkw, British Columbia. Premier Ujjal Dosanjh and federal Indian Affairs Minister Bob Nault will attend a special celebration honoring the treaty on Friday. The Nisga'a plan to hold its first election within the next six months. Get the Story:
