Inuit youth report high smoking

THURSDAY, JANUARY 31, 2002

The Labrador Inuit Health Commission has found that 62 percent of Inuit children are regular or occasional smokers.

The rate is significantly higher than youth in the rest of Canada. Between 27 and 30 percent of other youth smoke.
