Indian foster parents wanted

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2001 American Indian families in Utah are being urged to consider being foster parents for Indian children in the child welfare system. More than 140 Indian children are in state custody but only 26 Indian families are licensed to care for them, the Utah Foster Care Foundation says. The foundation will be holding an open house on Wednesday in hopes of getting more families interested. Get the Story:
