Corn compensation sought

Attorneys for sixteen states want the company who makes a genetically modified corn product to compensate farmers and grain elevators who bought it.

The company has already agreed to buy back the product and any potentially mixed products from farmers at 25 cents per bushel over local prices. But the attorney generals are asking the company to go further and accept responsibility for financial losses incurred as a result.
