Clinton to announce immunization study

DECEMBER 11, 2000 President Bill Clinton today will announce a government study on the immunization of many of the nation's poorest 5 million children. Clinton will issue an executive memorandum directing the Department of Agriculture to study the immunization status of childen in the federal WIC program. It also directs the USDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve immunization of at-risk children. Get the Story:
