APRIL 17, 2001 The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium and the Alaska Native Health Board are declaring war on soda in a new campaign designed to "Stop the Pop." The two say soda is to blame for cavities, diabetes, and obesity among Alaska Natives. They are targeting all age goups in an effort to reduce the health risks from consuming too much soda.
