Bio-corn cleared in allergy attacks

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday said that 17 individuals cannot blame allergic reactions they suffered after eating corn products on StarLink, a genetically modified corn.

Tests run on the individuals found no signs of antibodies to the protein in StarLink. The Food and Drug Administration laboratory conducted the blood tests, which had to be specially designed.
