More health care funds needed

JUNE 23, 2000 Mary and Leonard Trujillo of Cochiti Pueblo told Diane Justice, deputy assistant secretary for aging at the US Department of Health and Human Services, that more health care funds and training are needed to help care for the disabled. The couple's disabled son recently moved home after a hospital where he had been placed closed down. The family has been able to get Medicaid to help pay for some medical costs and the couple's granddaughter currently receives state funds to help care for their son. Get the Story:
