FBI nominee has prostate cancer

MONDAY, JULY 16, 2001

President Bush's pick to head the FBI has a form of prostate cancer, the most common non-skin cancer among men.

The cancer has been caught early and is not expected to affect the overall health of Robert S. Mueller III. Mueller will undergo an operation within the next month to treat the cancer.
