President Bush on Monday said he would veto any bill which expanded federal funding for stem cell research beyond what he's already proposed.

Bush last week said federal funding can be used only on existing embryos. Some have speculated, and Democrats have suggested, that his decision could be expanded.

But Bush yesterday said his decision is limited.

Scientists believe that embryo stem cells can be used to provide treatments for Parkinson's disease, Alzheimers, diabetes and other diseases and ailments.
