Research published in today's issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association reports that breast feeding is tied to high IQs in adults.

Based on study of more than 3,000 young men and women in Denmark, researchers said those who were breast fed during the first nine months of infancy received significantly higher scores than those breast fed for less than one month. Differences in health, economic status and behavior of the mother were taken into account in an attempt to separate out the effects of breast feeding.
