The United Nations held its seventh annual International Day of the World's Indigenous People on Thursday, drawing indigenous leaders from the United States and the world.

Many leaders complained they are still being ignored by the United Nations and the global community. They said they are being shut out of the upcoming World Conference on Racism, a gathering that President Bush is threatening to boycott for his own reasons.
