Land trust regs pass muster

Final regulations which make it harder for tribes to take land into trust are receiving some level of support from tribal leaders but they have raised several exceptions they want addressed.

Some tribal leaders say the requirement that a decision be made within 120 days is an improvement. They also say the definition of objective standards are beneficial to tribes.
