FEBRUARY 5, 2001 Author Jeff Benedict and leaders of three Connecticut towns on Saturday held a forum focusing on their problems with three Pequot tribes but also to warn residents of a Massachusetts town about the potential for the Mashpee Wampanoag to receive federal recognition.
