Counties end police agreement with Oneida
Facebook Twitter Email
After 6 years, two local New York counties severed their connection with the Oneida Police Force. The counties state that the complaints of area residents led to this decision; the Oneida Nation believes it had to do with pending land claims. While the Oneida Nation police force remains intact, they will no longer be able to investigate state crimes.
