BIA employee Oscar T. Poolaw has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 18 counts of filing false claims with the government. He is accused of misusing his government issued credit card.

Credit card abuse by BIA employees has been the subject of an ongoing government investigation. Some employees have been fired and disciplined.
