Baby death being investigated at Fort Peck

JUNE 29, 2001 Fort Peck Tribal Police and the FBI are investigating the death of a 7-week-old girl, the second to hit the Montana reservation in less than a week. Jasmine Murphy was pronounced dead on Wednesday after it was reported she stopped breathing. No arrests have been made. Eight=week-old Elmer Sterling Red Eagle III died last Friday after it was reported he stopped breathing. He was buried on Wednesday. Get the Story:
