Alleged bank robber seemed nice says casino

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2001 Authorities in New Mexico have retained custody of a 71-year-old man who fled to the San Felipe Pueblo casino after allegedly robbing a bank in Santa Fe. Herman Salazar showed up to the casino on Monday with lots of cash, said manager Larry Huchmala. But he wasn't allowed to enter because he appeared intoxicated. The casino ended up calling Salazar's sister, who then notified the FBI. Salazar is being held in a Santa Fe jail. Get the Story:
