Three Connecticut towns in talks with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation say they aren't convinced the tribe's latest round of answers satisfied their concerns about land-into-trust.

The tribe sent a letter to the leaders of Ledyard, North Stonington and Preston, hoping to clarify a proposal to limit land-into-trust applications to 880 acres over the next 35 years. The tribe wants voters of the towns to decide whether to approve it.
