Oneida Nation disputes homes

The Oneida Nation of New York continues to try and inspect homes of tribal members who oppose the practice.

Tribal police recently went to the mobile home of Danielle Patterson on Friday evening to inspect it. The tribe says Patterson cannot replace a furnace unless an inspection is carried out.

Depending on the account, Patterson resisted arrest or the police physically harassed her. She was arrested and released on bail after being charged in tribal court with second-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest,
