WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2001 All but two of the incumbents seeking re-election on the Omaha tribal council have been ousted by voters of the Nebraska tribe. Four incumbents sought re-election but voters only returned Doran Morris Sr. and Clifford Wolfe Jr. to their seats on the seven-member council. Morris and Wolfe, incidentally, had been suspended in June by the rest of the council over financial questions. Eleanor Baxter, the only woman running, got the most votes on Monday. Orville Cayou, Donald Grant, Valentine Parker Jr. and Greg Spears were elected. Chairman Elmer Blackbird did not seek re-election. Grant was chosen chairman by the new council on Tuesday.
