The leaders of three Connecticut towns are again asking Congress to help find the original copy of a map outlining the boundaries of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.

The map was used when Congress in 1983 passed a settlement act which extinguished the tribe's land claims in exchange for federal recognition and an established reservation. But the towns of Ledyard, North Stonington and Preston feel there are unresolved questions about the borders.

The towns believe the tribe can't seek additional trust lands. They also believe the tribe's successful casino might not be in Indian Country.
