Crow Tribe in Internet fight
MONDAY, APRIL 15, 2002

A non-Indian couple has set up a web site that criticizes the Crow Tribe of Montana for not turning over a juvenile to local law enforcement authorities.

On their site, Daryl and Marissa Burden say the tribe is harboring a criminal. They want Sheldon Beartusk, 17, brought to justice for allegedly stealing their horse truck and trailer.

Big Horn County has filed various charges against Beartusk. But the tribe says an extradition request has to be filed to start proceedings.
