A New Mexico man who pleaded guilty to killing a Navajo mother took the stand on Friday to testify against his co-defendant.

Leslie Engh described what he said occurred when he and Robert Ray Fry picked up Betty Lee and offered her a ride home. Engh told the court that Fry instigated the stabbing and that he participated.

Engh and Fry are facing murder charges for the death of a Navajo man. Engh pleaded guilty to that crime as well.
