Navajo weavers losing market
NOVEMBER 2, 2000

The shrinking market for wool products and a glut of cheap wool from Australia is forcing Navajo weavers to sell their product for low prices.

Some farmers are also storing the wool, because no one will buy it. Some in the wool industry they got better prices during the Depression.

The market has been flooded with wool from Australia. But the amount of wool left has dropped, so there may be hope in the future.
