Mohegan Tribe launches new venture

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut on Wednesday announced their plans to spend $10 million on entering the fishing and hatchery business.

The tribe has already entered into agreements with local fishermen to harvest and process fish at a plant they will build on their reservation in southeastern Connecticut. They are also planning a shellfish hatchery.
