JANUARY 25, 2001

Opponents of off-reservation casinos posed by tribes in Wisconsin are expressing hope that the new administration of President George W. Bush plans to review decisions made under Bruce Babbitt and Kevin Gover.

The Bush transition team says these are among several decisions made by the departed Secretary and Assistant Secretary being reviewed.
