Tribal deal depends on contract

JANUARY 26, 2001 A Norwich development corporation on Thursday approved a plan that would bring tribal offices of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation to the city's downtown. The attorney for Norwich Community Development Corp. said a lease contract with the tribe has to be signed before they can get state grant money needed to complete the project. The project needs $4 million. Get the Story:
