JANUARY 30, 2001 In a move likely to draw opposition from gaming tribes and gaming foes, Minnesota Senate Minority Leader Dick Day on Monday proposed building a state-owned casino in the Twin Cities. The casino would compete with the Prairie Island and Mystic Lake tribal casinos. Day said it would have about 2,000 slot machines. Get the Story:
