Foxwoods celebrates anniversary

FEBRUARY 16, 2001 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation on Thursday celebrated the ninth anniversary of its financially successful Foxwoods Resort Casino with a party fo its 11,200 employees. The casino has about a 28 percent turnover rate, much lower than the 50 percent rate in the hospitality industry. The casino attributes its focus on employee retention over the past two years to the low rate. Get the Story:
